Rihanna Becomes the New Face of Dior’s J’adore Fragrance

Recently, pop star Rihanna has been announced as the new muse for Dior’s J’adore fragrance, as seen through the lens of her long-time friend, Steven Klein. Rihanna expressed her excitement about this opportunity by stating, “Being the new face of J’adore is both an honor and a mission.” She emphasized the significance of the scent to women and how she plans to contribute to it through her creativity, femininity, and personal story.

It is essential to note that Rihanna’s partnership with Dior is not new. Over the years, she has been closely associated with the brand as a fashion icon and brand ambassador. In 2015, Rihanna made history by becoming the first Black woman to front Dior’s Secret Garden IV campaign. Her latest collaboration with Dior showcases her wearing a custom Dior golden pearl necklace and a stunning gold gown embroidered with pale sequins, both designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri.

Rihanna’s presence in the recent ad campaign for J’adore demonstrates her impeccable style and beauty. Her flawless skin, toffee-hued lips, and mesmerizing golden eyes perfectly complement the luxurious and timeless aesthetic of Dior. The fragrance will now be available in 35ml and 80ml versions, in addition to the existing 50ml option. Francis Kurkdjian shared his vision for the new fragrance, stating that he aimed to enhance the floral signature of J’adore with accents of purity and a texture reminiscent of enveloping liquid gold.

Véronique Courtois, the CEO of Parfums at Christian Dior, expressed the brand’s excitement in welcoming Rihanna into the Dior family.
